Property is the sector I've shot most
Most of the last few years has been property. Working with The Network (formerly Starling Properties) in Dubai meant listings, launches, roadshows and agent content week after week — plus interiors work with MCORP Interior Fitout and Renovation Masters, and UK estate agency content for Michael Chandler.
That volume teaches you things a general videographer doesn't know: which hour the light works in a west-facing tower, why a wide lens can lose you a viewing, and that the reel a buyer watches on a phone is a completely different edit from the film on the listing page.
What I shoot
Property walkthrough films
Gimbal-led tours that read the space in a sensible order and hold pace, cut for both the listing page and social.
Architectural photography
Interior and exterior stills, shot and corrected for the light and geometry a property actually deserves.
Matterport 360° virtual tours
Full interactive walkthroughs so overseas and out-of-area buyers can view properly before travelling.
Drone and aerial
Location, scale and surroundings — the context a ground-level shot can never give.
Agent and founder content
Presenter-led social video that builds an agent's personal brand, not just the listing's.
Launch and roadshow coverage
Same-day social edits from launch events and international roadshows.
Content that matches how buyers actually look
A property is now sold across several surfaces at once, and each needs a different cut of the same shoot day:
- The portal listing — stills and a clean two-minute walkthrough.
- Instagram and TikTok — vertical, fast, hook in the first second, sound-off captions.
- Paid campaigns — multiple short variations to test against buyer audiences.
- The virtual tour — for serious and overseas buyers who need to walk it before they fly.
- The agent's own channel — because buyers increasingly follow people, not agencies.
All of it comes from one shoot day, which is the difference between a videographer and a content creator.
Property content questions
How long does a property shoot take?
A typical apartment or villa is a half day for video and stills. Add a Matterport 360° scan and it's usually a full day. Large developments or multi-unit shoots are quoted per project.
How quickly do we get the content back?
Stills within two to three days, social cuts within three to five, and the full walkthrough film within about a week. Launch and event coverage can be turned around same-day when needed.
Do you do Matterport tours?
Yes — Matterport 360° virtual tours and Insta360 work are part of my standard kit, and they're one of the highest-return things a listing can have when buyers are overseas.
Do you work with UK estate agents?
Yes, though remotely rather than on location — editing, social content, AI-generated visuals and campaign work for UK agencies. For a physical UK property shoot you'd be better served by a local shooter; I'd handle everything around it.
Can you also manage the listing's social media?
Yes. Shooting and running the channels is one job in my case — publishing, captions, scheduling and paid campaigns can all be included rather than handed to a separate agency.
